Logan Hoffman Joins NREC Staff
Logan Hoffman recently joined CSU as the Beef Extension Associate, working with Dr. Ryan Rhoades on benchmarking and other production based programs around the state.
Logan is originally from small-town Minnesota, but attended Simpson University in Redding, California where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He worked for the first few years out of college on the business side of the Denver Rescue Mission, a non-profit, before switching career paths into production agriculture. Logan started as an intern at Gardiner Angus Ranch and followed that by working at a small family run grain operation in South Central Kansas. Logan has also worked at Pratt Feeders, a 40,000 head capacity custom feeding operation in Central Kansas. He earned his Master’s Degree in Agricultural Business from Kansas State University, and partnered with the Red Angus Association of America to analyze the economic impact of EPD’s in auction bull sale prices for his thesis research
Logan, his beautiful wife Erin, and son Cal, live in Sterling, Colorado where Erin practices as a Family Physician. Logan enjoys everything outdoors including hunting, fishing, camping, and golfing. He is excited to live back in the great state of Colorado and looks forward to helping cattle producers across the state reach their goals.
