Hear from CSU leadership, including President McConnell and Provost Pedersen, about engagement at CSU and the land-grant mission. Learn more about partnering with the Office of Engagement and Extension which includes CSU Extension, CSU Online and the Colorado Water Center, as well as two other off-campus partners - Agriculture Experiment Station and Colorado State Forest Service.

Grow and Give Program - Talk with Extension Agents Darrin Parmenter, Nicole Clark, and Katie Dunker about how Extension brought back the "victory garden" during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cooperative Efforts with Opioid Abuse Prevention and Food Security Issues in Rural Colorado - Southeast Area Extension Agent Abby Weber will share her experiences partnering with CSU faculty on an initiative for preventing opioid abuse and future plans for continuing that work, as well as her successful hands-on food preparation education in communities.
Youth Development Partnerships - Join Patrick Pulis, Extension Agent in Weld County to learn about helping youth to continue STEM activities virtually during social distancing.
Soil Health Impacts Across Colorado - Extension agents Ron Meyer and Annie Overlin will share an innovative soil health project that spans communities across the state.

Learn practical solutions for doing engaged work, partnering with communities, connecting with others at CSU, and how to communicate the value of this work to others. After an introduction and overview of the basics, faculty will have the opportunity to join two break-out sessions for in depth discussions with members of the Provost's Council for Engagement and the Extension Program Leadership Team on engagement in the areas of Food & Agriculture, Youth Development, Health and Wellness, Community and Economic Development, and Natural Resources and Water.
