Ram Tour 2013
2013 Colorado State University Engagement Tour
CSU Provost Rick Miranda and Vice President for Engagement Lou Swanson led a group of over 30 faculty on the 2013 Ram Tour, which travelled through northwest Colorado on August 12 and 13. The CSU offices of External Relations, Alumni, and OnlinePlus also supported the tour.
The CSU Ram Faculty Engagement Tour is a two-day traveling seminar designed for recently hired and newly tenured faculty, new administrators, and new student leaders. Invitations are issued through the CSU Provost Office. Each year, the tour will travel through a Colorado region to meet CSU community partners, talk with current CSU students and alumni, and learn from regional leaders. The tour deepens participants' understanding of CSU's existing community partnerships, and provides opportunities to network within and across faculty cohorts.
2013 Ram Tour stops included:
- Sapphire Point, near Dillon
- Crazy Mountain Brewery, Edwards
- Bar A Ranch, Toponas
- Steamboat Community Gardens, Steamboat
- North Park Welcome Center, Walden
- Encana Auditorium, University of Wyoming, Laramie.
